This book is about a unique group of extroverts who are from Brighton. I have lived in Brighton all my life and seen some weird things going on there, but I never really thought anything of it until I moved to London in 2019.
The title ‘People Who Don’t Give a Fuck’ displays the attitude and mindset these people have in common, but I equally wanted to look at their different personalities. Extroverts seem to naturally gravitate to Brighton and Brighton gives them license to be whoever they want. The tribal qualities of this group are interesting; their attitude and style binds them together, but they operate as a disconnected network with a common culture and outlook.
With the amount of extroverts in Brighton, this book could have been as big as the Oxford English Dictionary and probably as boring, so that’s why I have handpicked some of the standout premier players who don’t give a fuck.
